I believe restriction are applied to us more than anyone is because there is a fear of more than just one "firm" turning up to invite us. Take Chelsea for instance, how many other firms turned up there? Lets look at our history, remember Hayes, when practically every firm turned up for that FA Cup game. What I'm saying is certain clubs we will go to will attract other followers of other clubs along. I just feel the authorites kbow this and apply bubble trips for us to put off the other guys.

I was there at Hayes, over 250 Cockneys tried to attack 10 of us, one of the worst situations Ive ever been in.

I was home from living abroad. It was the first time I had seen Cardiff play since November 1987. That I believe was 3 years. I recall we were in a stand without cover and my immediate thought was the rain. I had not seen rain for 3 years from working in the Middle East lol. Fortunately it did not rain that night but the talk was of a thunderstorm that was going to happen after the game. I asked a local policeman how could there be trouble at a ground like Hayes of which he told me they were expecting other club troublemakers to come along. Thats about right I said to myself when it comes to Cardiff City.

I recall the police escorting the Cardiff fans to their buses. I just waited for the ground to empty then just slip away to the train station.

we always expected other clubs fans to turn up for non league teams in the fa cup but that night was something else
i was not looking forward to the walk back to the buses
if we had taken a big mob to griffin park that night it would have been one of the top ten offs of all time

surely just ALL TICKET matches would be enough in this day and age with the odd early ko time ?

The only game we have restrictions for is you, we didn't for Swansea last time so doubt we will this time, when Millwall come to Leeds they have to pick tickets up at the services but can make their own way from there, although that isnt much use to them as they all come by road anyway.

Sheff U must be laying on free transport to bring that many........
