What 50cc Did You have ?

I had a yamaha FS1E (A Fizzy) paid £65 for it, looked crap but a real legend of a bike that pissed all over the 'posey' looking bikes.

Honda C50L .I fell of it once whilst riding it in Bristol got my wheels caught in the tram tracks

I had a Suzuki TS50 ER and thought it was the Mutts Nutts. Then my mate turned up on his Gilera and turned me over for speed (I think his would do about 40 flat out and mine about 35)

Moved on to a TS 250 ER at 17 and then up to a Kawasaki Z1000R which was the fecking business in those days and still a collectors item today....

Just a pity some drunken tw*t in a Volvo (I kid you not!!) Estate took me out and left me for dead

They caught up with him....but that's another story

Still ride today....love 'em (bikes that is) and a frequent visitor to the Nurburgring....

had a few 50cc registered vespas but 125 engines
oh and i had a honda mt5 (50cc) it did 32 miles per hour flat out if i kept the throttle right back for about a mile.. 34 if the wind was behind me
i was riding it from abercynon to aberdare in bad weather one night and i coudnt get it to go faster than 20mph cause of the wind and rain

Annis, the more I hear from you the more I think you were a closet mod. You liked the clothes, you liked the music and you liked the mod girls. Is there anything else?
Baring in mind here that ALL us mods denied being mods. We were all Scooter Boys or Soul Boys.

Kawasaki AR50 Black

Garelli something or other, crap, but was all I could afford. Saved up to get a Malaguti Olympic, but my mam went mental when she found out and banned me from buying it. Used to borrow my sister's boyfriend's Honda C90 (when he wasn't around and didn't know!) and used to ride around Roath at full throttle. What a tw*t I was at 16!

i swapped a nokia for a MT 55 i think it was , no throttle cable so i put a shoe lace on and had to drive one handed , an a load of grass an leaves in the back tyre as it had no inner tube
