apprently its really expensive? anyone got any experiances?
also should i be packing coats and jumpers or shorts and t-shirts

alot of searches on the net are comparing prices in switziland to the uk and that alot of people often say "its very expensive" because they automaticly think it should be cheaper as its abroad

...at least it's not as exxy as Iceland. I had to dock there once when I was tagging seals. Whoaaa Nelly. A beer was like 20 bucks!

Was in Switzerland two weeks ago . Beautiful country. Don't make my mistake and take Euros as their currency is Swiss francs although lots of hotels and airports take euro's . Can't say I found any more expensive than ere unless you get chocs from airport which cost me a fortune

It IS expensive, but no worse than some other countries. Beer is at a premium, mind....

I was in Switzweland a couple of weeks ago the weather was scorching, You can eat and drink at a reasonable price in the smaller bars and cafes i found that the supermarkets were the same price as the uk and one or two the packs of booze were slightly cheaper. Ive only ever been before ski-ing this was the first summer hols there and the scenery was fantastic even beats the caribean.

stayed in zurich for the lichenstein game so only had few hours, but was expensive late on in the night beers £6 approx ,but we ve got a bar in basel to go to which is only 4 a pint will post the name closer the time as not sure yet.
