I'm not a subscriber to the 'because he is Welsh' purchasing scheme of many; but that would be a class group on their own merits as 'footballers'

I must admit I didn't realise that Brooks was out of contract.

I know there will be concerns about his fitness following his illness but if he is recovered then he would fit right into how Morison wants to set us up. A short term contract with lonfer term options in place might be attractive to both the club and player.

If Bale signs then having the chance to play/train alongside him in readiness for a tilt at a place in the World Cup squad could be very attractive to Brooks.

That Madine fella looks handy!

Afobe's got a fairly decent record at championship level decent age at 29 would be a different option to wha we got and realistically an improvement.

Gary Madine, Fraser Campbell, Junior Holliet, Isaac Vassel and Josh Murphy are decent players who could do a job at Championship level we should sign them and maybe try to get Tom Lawrence and Uncle Albert Adomah on loan

Bale, Ramsey, Brooks, Lawrence Colwill, Harris, Great but what happens to the team when called up for Wales duty, half the team will be missing, Nice thought but let's be realistic.

Lewis Grabban would be good but he turned us down before didn't he? Only issue with most of these is wages but Tom Lawrence and if Brooks gets back to form would have sell on value. I'd take Brooks in a heartbeat cracking player, he will be back he's young I believe. I posted about Lawrence a few days ago. 30k a week at Derby Bacuna was 30k here, same wages massive upgrade with sell on value potentially. I believe a key to a successful Cardiff is a core of Welsh players like Ajax used to be or kind of still are with Holland. Would be great for Cardiff and Great for Wales. Just my opinion tho.

You've got to think if Bale and Ramsey were here, Lawrence would be desperate to come back.

It could get him a place in the squad for the World Cup.

He's obviously not liked by Page but a good start to the season could be all it takes.

Time to continue the Welsh revolution, by signing the most Welsh sounding Sierra Leone international ever - Idris Kanu .
