Again shows the need for direction at the top with a football man who knows the British game inside and out. And based in Cardiff

Shows how tactically flawed we have been in recent years. Letting high quality, technical players with good sell on value to leave because we can't fit them into our team, instead of evolving our style.

Crazy how you can buy a player to fit a certain style of play and it turns out he is the exact opposite type of player. They just have looked at him and thought he’s tall and he scores a few headers… yup he’s a target man.

Disagree sorry. Warnock wanted him and was given the funds to get him. If someone above had denied the manager the right to buy him we’d have been accused of having people meddling and interfering with what NW wanted.

I'm genuinely not surprised and (stated at the time) I thought there was a top striker in there. He was just not given the run that might have seen him shine at our club
Sadly, patience is not a current Bluebird virtue...

Staying put apparently.

To be fair it's was worth 5.5 million just to see him in his short era with us , if he'd stayed he'd would gotvat least 5 more goals . Let's see what he delivers at a better club before we burst into tears .

Theres a very long list of people on here who slagged him off relentlessly! You do not buy a technically good player and use him as a a battering ram for up and at em football.... let's say he joined a long list of players given a thankless role suited to them failing. Blame lies squarely with the managers who signed these players...

A very good technical player that will in the right formation and team will score lots of goals and will continue to score goals.
Was extremely disappointed to see him leave - never given a real run in the team when playing to his strengths - so many times when he did play it wasn’t hence why he struggled.
I think a previous poster on this thread has mentioned he was a scapegoat for so many fans and now they are the ones blaming the board.
Did we over pay - I am sure we did, did we sell to cheaply to get rid for sure.
