I do agree, but to be fair Cooper did an amazing job well before being backed in any transfer window.

He took over at the end of September and turned them around without any chance to invest in the team until January.

Even then he signed Davis on loan from Villa, Steve Cook on a free, Larya from MLS for $1m who has hardly played, Sam Surridge for £1.9m and Panzo for under a million.

Just shows that with a decent manager/coach it's not just about money but getting the right players to fit the right system.

But is does confirm though is that is you do have money top spend, spend it on a striker (loan or signing) because that's what everyone needs to get out of this division.

It's not about money necessarily look at huddersfield no spending but came from 20th last season to playoffs with a new manager..... can add morison to equation going don until he came in stopped rot with "CHEAP" loans.... clubs have spent many millions and still not gone up from championship but could end up like derby ect.

I hate to admit it but he's a 1st class manager, he will get a top team in thr future.

Like to see him as a future Wales boss.
