All I will say is strongly, we will need 4-6 real quality players to come in, it’s very early stages at moment, let’s hope Morison performs miracles abd we see these exciting players come in.

If we are offering £6k to players the "quality" of Ralls at prime age and even with injuries......

Then we are in trouble money wise. I hope a quarter his salary is wide of the mark.

Personally I don’t think we have the strength in depth in midfield to let him go but it has to be on a decent wage for both parties.
I want him to stay and think he will pick up a good level championship club despite his injury record.
Think he has become a bit of a whipping boy for some fans with Pack and Bacuna not being in the side.
Think he has always been underrated in many ways.

Of course we are in trouble money wise , Wayne, to be fair the club regime have continually put it out, lower wages dramatically, lower over heads, free transfers and loans.
But sell any player worth anything.

Can't see we are tbh I would be shocked if we only offered 6k for ralls and I don't believe we have as he would of left us already .

I've no idea what his wages are though, or what he's been offered.

To be honest, and I’ve said this before, even if it is a quarter of £24k I think that fair simply because I can’t see him playing much more than a back up role this season.

Even with Adams, Wintle and Colwill as a central 3 he’s already on the bench without anymore signings, which there will be.

Morison is clearly looking at a mobile, quick, press from his midfield and Ralls simply can’t play that role.

If Ralls is still with us next season it will because the rest of the Championship managers hold the same opinion.

£24k per week for a bog standard, recently injury prone, midfielder is unsustainable and from my opinion, wrong.

He’s been with us for a long period but it’s time we improved/changed this midfield. He’s not a player like Whitts who turned down plenty of moves to stay, let him see what he can get/achieve elsewhere.
