Easier league and where to go in your last years as a professional.

Always liked David Marshall.

Former Cardiff City fans' favourite David Marshall is set for yet another transfer as he appears to be closing in on a move to Scottish clubs Hibs.

The 37-year-old is a free agent after leaving QPR following a short stint in west London. According to the BBC, he had signed a pre-contract agreement to move to the Edinburgh club, but the deal needed to be ratified by new manager Lee Johnson, who arrived last week.

Marshall played almost 300 games for the Bluebirds during his stint between 2009 and 2016, winning the club's Player of the Season award back in 2014.

The BBC report Marshall's medical took place at Hibs on Monday.
