Collins 'jumped through hoops' to complete City move

Steve Morison says he's already been struck by the enthusiasm of new boy Jamilu Collins.

The Nigerian completed a move to the Bluebirds on Friday, becoming the club's fourth signing of the summer, and Morison says the near 28 year-old is already eager to get started.

"He's jumped through hoops to come here," Morison told the club's official website. "The feedback I've had from everyone is that he's buzzing to come here. I've been doing everything I can to get him over here. He's had a couple of days in Cardiff and really enjoyed himself. He's ready to go."

Speaking about his excitement for the move, Collins himself added:

"The club has a great history. When I got the call up to come to Cardiff I was so excited and I couldn't resist.

"I can't wait to meet my new team-mates. There's always competition. Competition is always welcome. It's really, really good. Right now I can think about my new club and I'm really, really excited about it. I can't wait to meet the supporters and fight for these supporters and this jersey."

He has 25 caps for Nigeria

Loving how enthusiastic the new signings are.

Hope they work out

After some of the abject signings we've made over the years these hungry and ambitious players are refreshing.

Yes we have limited resources and major issues with the way our club has been run... but Cardiff is a wonderful city, we have a great history and some of the best training facilities in the league.

So yeah, it's an exciting prospect
