Good luck to him.
Think he (and the team) will find a big jump in standard between top and second leagues in France.

As per one of the Twitter replies.....

I did not know he was English.

Awful assumption based on Connahs Quay, Cardiff City and his forename. :)

We should have kept him and loaned him.
Was a talent we didnt work with

Obviously a big chunk of hindsight here but totally agree. He would probably fit in nicely with what Morison is trying to do now.

He was awful when he made his debut against Chelsea I think? Correct me if I’m wrong. But ye, he came on and every time the ball came to him he was like bambie. Maybe it was all down to nerves, certainly didn’t look good enough at the time so I don’t blame the club for letting him go. Happy he has started doing well tho.

We did. He was a Cardiff player for 6 seasons. In that time we loaned him to Colchester, Dundee, Torquay, Newport and MK Dons.

Yes I remember that game. He was indeed awful but as a poster has already said, hinsight. I'm still not convinced though tbh

Rob Page should take a look, there are some very good strikes in the film
