' Steve Morison / Lee Bowyer '

Steve Morison:

"I’m expecting a tough test once again. They'll want to come and ruin our last home game. We need to dust ourselves down after Wednesday. Long travel, we need to pick the best team going into that."

"Obviously since I came in, I obviously had a job to do and obviously we’ve done it. That’s the plus point. If you actually look at it for the whole season, if we continued in the same run of form at the start, we’d have been in a nice healthy position and we’d have been possibly sitting here not far outside the play-offs and pushing.

“We started at a handicap and that’s the reality of it. Next year it’ll be better. That’s my promise.”

Lee Bowyer:

“When the players perform in the way they did, it shows good character, good spirit, and most importantly that they care. I’ve said to the players it took a lot of courage to do what they did, they could easily have gone the other way. It has been a good week.

“There’s been a lot of positives this season. Sheffield United away, no one would have predicted for us to go there and win. We had a great away day at Luton. A lot of young players have played this season and that’s building for the future.

“Cardiff have some good players. They’ve brought in some good loan players. It’s hard to predict what they are going to do, so we focus on what we are going to do and how we can hurt them.”

He’s right to be fair to him, obviously.

He has done what was asked at him but I’m not sure we’d be much better off if we had him for the full season. I will watch today but couldn’t care what the result is. I just hope he gets his players in early as next season will be very strange for many different reasons.
