Cardiff’s Joel Bagan missed the match with Boro through injury so will once again be a doubt. Uche Ikpeazu is available again after missing the last match through ineligibility as the striker is on loan at the bluebirds from Middlesbrough.





Birmingham expect to have Kristian Pedersen back in the team after the Danish defender missed the match with Millwall. Meanwhile, Taylor Richards has recovered from illness and may feature for the Blues.

i didn't know bacuna had signed for brum

Juninho Bacuna with the first chance of the match. The midfielder bursts through the middle of Cardiff's defence, but can't get enough purchase on his shot and it's saved comfortably by Phillips.

Birmingham try a speculative ball over the top, but Denham stays strong to shield the ball out for a goal kick.

Nothing much happening so far

Doyle with a sliced ball over the top of the Blues defence and Mark Harris tries to chase it down, but Nico Gordon gets there first. He clears and Harris blocks it, it could go anywhere, but it ends up back with Etheridge. Good work from the striker, though.
