‘ Isaak Davies / Mark Harris / James Collins??? ‘

Wed Apr 27, 2022 7:42 am

IN MY VIEW ALL 3 PLAYERS ARE NOT CHAMPIONSHIP MATERIAL??

No doubt Glen Williams / Dalman will say they are stars and are good enough to take us to the play-offs next season.
We need reality here and honesty.

Isaak Davies will be 21 yrs old this year

Davies has made 27 appearances for the Bluebirds and scored 2 goals

Davies is fast , has the doors like I say, but as a striker ?? Hmmmmmm

Personally I don’t see Davies being a Championship striker and along with Mark Harris who is 24 yrs old this year and has scored 6 goals in 49 appearances for the Bluebirds , one of them at least has to be moved on.
Harris def for me, failed at Wrexham & Newport 5 goals in 40 Appearances at Non League and League 2 level.

Maybe Davies as a super sub with his speed ?

Cardiff City need a striker for next season and 100% not James Collins with only 3 goals and chance after chance missed.

OPINIONS??

Davies is a star in the making but he isn't a striker and we should concentrate on turning him into a winger ,the others are vrap a d need off loading

Wez,

With you on all accounts and change his position and get rid of the other crap.

I agree and said similar about Harris a long time ago, he is good as an impact sub but when he starts you wouldn't know he is playing it's strange.

Collins is a hard worker but like preseason showed he can do a job against lesser opposition but the Championship is too big for him.

Davies, for me is decent...but that's all. I would definitely keep him for his pace but he seems to have lost the confidence of running at players like he had when he made his first few appearances.

Basically none of them will score the number of goals needed to get us near the playoffs next year, I would even argue that all 3 combined still wouldn't reach the number actually.
I hate being critical of our own players but we need better, if we are going to settle for "he is alright" we may aswell have kept Jonny Williams.

Fair play, that’s an honest assessment and I hope Morison sorts the 3 of them out, 2 to leave and one worked on to improve him.

We would have no strikers if davies harris and Collins go left hugill will go back to norwich ipiazu the beast is imo just a lump of a fella with little skill and would prefer to keep either davies or harris in place of the beast boro can have him back.

To be honest if you look at their goal ratio, we have NO strikers anyway.

The club needs to bring in a decent striker, not a washed up one or over the hill.

Max Watters, I have heard they are looking to sell, but would many clubs pay for him??

League 1, probably.

Disagree about Isaac. He's only just broke in the first team squad this season.

I did not want to be nasty to the lad , but this is not good enough and in a team that plays football.

Isaac Davies has made 27 appearances for the Bluebirds and scored 2 goals .

Needs to drop down to League 1 and get scoring then.

I agree with Wez, Davies could be a good winger.

I would love a home grown player to make it, but he will need to score goals if he is to be kept as a striker .
