Burger King dash after Sheffield game
Glen Williams: “As yours truly dashed for the train at Sheffield, two Cardiff City players were darting inside the station's Burger King for some post-match grub. In fear of getting them into trouble (is Burger King on the permitted foods list at Cardiff City?) their identities shall remain anonymous...”

Actually, it seems neither player got what they wanted; when they got into the restaurant, they found Lee Tomlin at the front of the queue buying up the remaining stock...!

This thread got me thinking about how many (I’ve got to be careful with my wording here) other fat barstewards we’ve had play for city. I’m sure there are some obvious ones I’ve missed out but I’m sure we've had ‘bigger built’ players than Scott McCulloch.

If a player is going to treat themselves, post match is surely the best time for it. They’ve probably burnt off more calories than they’ll eat and they’ve got no training that day.

Sign of the times.. Burger King is not a foodstuff..
This clowns game is words, and he seems unable to get the basics right. Even more ludicrous, he’s probably getting paid for it.

i don’t see an issue The players have had Dominos pizza delivered to the coach in the past and under many managers If they limit the intake to once a week , what is the issue

They're all on too many protein shakes and energy drinks as it is, so the odd burger and fries won't do them any harm.

Yet another 'Whopper' of a story from Glen Williams.
