Steve Morison: “I thought we were excellent today”

Cardiff City manager Steve Morison told BBC Sport Wales:


"I thought we were excellent, it was tough for us against a very good team.

"We started well and should have taken one of our chances, we didn't, and I'm gutted with the goal but it's shows how far we've come.

"We're doing the best we can with the group and I think there was some really good performances out there."

I may stop short of 'excellent' but as manager, Steve Morison must feel they played to the 'game plan' today and were unlucky to lose (maybe even win)

As I said elsewhere, we are a goal-scoring striker away from a decent mid-table side and hopefully this summer will unearth that little gem

First half Sheff Utd were piss poor. We had 3 good chances and were piss poor at scoring
Second half, if that was excellent then Morrison is deluded. We were shit.

Must have been blinded by the glare from his sparkling white trainers.

Two efforts on target all game - a piss weak effort from Watters when through on goal in the first half and a header from a long throw that their keeper almost missed because he was asleep on his deckchair for the rest of the afternoon.

A lack of quality throughout the team made worse when Dramah went off and highlighted further when Vaulks came on.

End of the season can't come quick enough.

I suppose he thinks losing 1-0 to a pretty average team clinging onto a top 6 spot is praiseworthy?

His strikers can’t hit a barn door with the proverbial; his defenders can’t keep a clean sheet and he thinks that’s excellent?

He really does not help himself

First half maybe, second half abysmal

We started off well, failed to score, lost confidence, never recovered.

Couldnt score in a brothel ,we need strikers that score ,please go get some .
