' NEW CARDIFF CITY KIT 2022-23 - DEFINITELY NOT '

‘ NEW CARDIFF CITY KIT / DEF NOT ADIDAS 2022-23 ‘

We definitely have a new manufacturer for next season but the new company is being understandably kept under wraps.

It's all about opinions of course but for me, Adidas is the elite of sports brands and the 3 Stripes are historically associated with football, so I think it's a shame we are changing, for whatever reason. I think it's a step down but let's see.

I just hope it's not a result of cost-cutting and we get a third rate brand like we've seen before like Joma, Macron or even worse, eCosway, the worst ever. I liked the Puma kit so after Adidas, that would be my second choice but I suspect it's another brand.

A good call would be Hummel. They do the new Everton kit, which also includes yellow and that's something I'd love to see return. If it was plain blue with a few tweaks it's an example of what's possible and whilst not Adidas, Hummel is a quality brand.

As long as its a blue shirt I don't care who makes it.

Puma seem to be very hit and miss. Some nice ones but some horrific ones too. Suppose its all opinion though. I quite like the more garish away ones, many don't.

Ideally if it’s Puma just copy the Italy kit just replacing the gold for white and then go for something bombastic away

Hmm...puma. not sure on their sizing. XL adidas is a very nice fit...xl puma is a bit tighter. The 2010 and 2011 kits being the worst examples. Saying that the 2009 kit was a decent fit too.

And yes, the Medium (!!) 2008 Joma Kit still fits me well too...work that out!

Anyone know when was the last time we had the same shirt for more than one season?

Must be an expensive business to buy a new shirt every season especially if you have kids to buy for too or if you want the away jersey as well.

It was Tans decision to get rid of the yellow as it was with Hey Jude - another "bad omen". Man's a crackpot.

I always read it Warnock and the squad that wanted Hey Jude gone.

For me, there is only one kit. Wouldn't it be superb if it influenced whatever the new design is?
