" Brilliant for British football '

Thu Apr 14, 2022 9:45 pm

Brilliant achievements from British football teams in European competition this season.

Manchester City and Liverpool both in the Champions League semi finals, Manchester City to play Real Madrid and Liverpool to play Villarreal.

West Ham and Rangers both in the Europa League semi-finals, West Ham to play Frankfurt and Rangers to play RB Leipzig.

All-British final in both??

Didn't notice that :thumbright:

Especially pleased for Rangers because Premier League clubs have the money.

Regardless, what an achievement by all.

Yes and they all deserved their wins... shame Chelsea blew their chances against real Madrid a game they should have won

Saw the Benzema goals in the first leg but critical mistakes cost Chelsea in second leg - such as Rudiger's slip for Benzema's winner.

Can still see Man City/Liverpool winning CL and West Ham winning CL and UEL respectively.

Premier League money against lack of funds in La Liga, Bundesliga and Serie A has made the difference.
