I played for Bridgend Town in the old Welsh league division one in the 80’s which was the top flight at the time, Brian Clark & Ronnie Bird were joint managers. Our home ground was Coychurch Rd.

Played for Aberaman AFC in the 80s. They had quite a decent side back then. And won the Welsh League Division 1. Played in the same team as Paul Wheeler who went on to play for City. He was way too good. Also, played alongside Chris Bird, who went onto Merthyr Town. Played against the likes of David Giles who was playing for Newport at the time. Was managed by a Cardiff man by the name of Dave Hewings if anybody knows Dave. Happy memories.
