Looking forward to today's game and a good opportunity to further test the potential and resolve of those players with a potential future after Steve Morison's Summer Revolution

Hull City no poor team and with Lewis-Potter in the side they will be a big threat at home

Result or performance? It's a result-based budiness, so the former for me; a performance like the second half at Reading will be a pleasant bonus

To add an old addage, we'll certainly know we've been to Hull and back...! :ayatollah:

Match facts:

Hull City are looking to complete a league double over Cardiff City for the first time since 2015-16 under Steve Bruce.

Cardiff have won two of their last 11 away league visits to Hull (D4 L5), winning 2-0 in February 2011 and 2-0 in April 2018.

This will be only Hull’s second home Good Friday league match this century, with their other game coming back in April 2007 against Norwich, losing 2-1.

Cardiff have lost 20 of their last 27 Good Friday league matches (W3 D4) and lost 1-0 last year at home to Nottingham Forest.

Hull have lost their last six home league matches and defeat in this match will see them break a club record for consecutive home league defeats, also enduring a six-game losing run between September and November 1992 when they played at Boothferry Park.

It’s a starting eleven nobody could have predicted.

Decent attack started by Harris with a good ball into Ikpeazu but he doesn't see Isaak Davies to his right and the ball is sent away by the Hull keeper

Lewis-Potter then threatens up the keft but Bagan gets the ball away

Dicing with danger there for Cardiff. Keane Lewis-Potter gets in behind Drameh and sends in a troublesome cross. But the visitors' defence clears.

Disaster, as the Bluebirds contrive to give away a now traditional and calamitous early goal...!

Flint at fault first but Phillips has a proverbial mare coming out to challenge and player and ball go through to the waiting empty net

And then the second bus comes along and it's a second goal for Hull...

Poor work again and easily preventable with both Drameh and Vaulks at fault before (shall we say) not the best of shots beats Phillips in the Bluebird goal

Even by city's standards both goals were remarkable in way defenders were simply careless for both goals ... but see signs that city will score if they can get off the beach..

Save! Wow, what an effort from Ikpeazu!

A cross comes into the box and Ikpeazu pulls out the overhead kick, which he connects with really well. Matt Ingram has to dive to his right to stop it heading into the top corner.
