Following today's results, we are now mathematically safe from relegation with six games to spare.

Steve Morison has done a brilliant job to make this happen :thumbright: :bluebird:

When he was appointed, many on here said we'd still get relegated or it would go down to the final game.

He's proved them wrong.

If we had made the wrong appointment, or Mick McCarthy had stayed, we would have almost certainly been relegated. That would have been a disaster for the club.

Time to give Denham some game time alongside McGuiness as they will hopefully be 2 the 3 CBs next season if we stay with 5-3-2.

Yes we avoided relegation but after last Saturday, I struggle to say he has done a brilliant job. Before playing the Jacks we were 99% safe and he had 2 weeks to get us up for the game. I still don’t get the players froze because of the crowd. Lack of preparation and players going home/ holidays more likely in the 14 days before the game.

Clearly that one game has more meaning to you than surviving what at one point looked like certain relegation

I love to beat the Jack's but not above the Bluebirds achieving over the season

For me, NO CLUB is bigger or better than Cardiff City FC and it is our safety and wrll-being (as a club) is of paramount exostence

I know some won't agree, but Steve Morison has been a breath of fresh air; although we'll only find out his true worth next season when he has Assombalonga-ed his own squad

Totally agree with Wez whilst some have after one game, seemingly forgotten where we were before he took over

Please don’t put words in my mouth, avoiding relegation is more important than beating the jacks. Yes avoiding relegation was the most important, but as I said before the Jacks game that was just about achieved. We then have the biggest game of the season reflected by the crowd. Don’t under estimate what that means. You have Derby’s all over the world like Real Madrid v Barc etc. why is ours not so important to our fans. He has done a good job but for most fans it is not brilliant.

Back on topic, avoiding relegation is the most important but I do get losing to the Jacks hurt, it hurt me immensely for many reasons but I will say apart from that Steve Morison has done a sound job and 100% deserves his crack at it next season.

Totally agree..any true fan was devastated last week as I was ..it's taken me until now to post a message as my head was gone last week. but now I've card down a bit I realise we have to look at the bigger picture..morison has done a decent job and got it totally wrong at the worst time last week but overall I think we all would have taken where we are now in the league compared to where McCarthy was taking us.. hopefully a good transfer window and we will improve next season...onwards and upwards..
