Nobody can doubt his ability as a manager in the Championship, did a phenomenal job for us and many other clubs.

SM and the board should look at the steps NW took to bring the club together when we were down before. Warnock is the master of that and I really enjoyed his time here. Happy retirement Neil, one of the games great characters.
This is the t-shirt I had made for the promotion season:

His man management , his team building, team talks, self deprecating humour, his desire to win, to beat the system that was always against him. His interaction with the fans, I remember the day we played man city in the cup - he stopped to have a chat my son and his friends. Basically everything about him - I loved. It was a pleasure to be part of his final promotion and I just hope he liked as much as we did.
Fully deserves his retirement - he should now go into TV punditry, march summariser or even just take on the running of his local pub team.

I loved Warnock when we played against him he was always a manager I wanted at Cardiff City and I feel he didnt let me down as our club at the time was so low not just the league position but supporters were low all having rows with another the club as a whole was a mess.
In comes Warnock and he got the club as one, saved us from relegation then the following season was the best I seen for a long time amazing got us promoted, and well if we had a decent officials against Chelsea with the worst off side goal I have seen at City and of course if poor Sala stayed alive who would have know we may have stayed in the premiership.
The following season I hated the way Warnock was treated by us same as Boro treated him he deserved to be treated with more respect but even now he speaks of happy times at City and for me the best manager we had in my time loved his humor loved his straightness.
Enjoy your retirement Neil you have earned it

I will always call him Sir Neil, the turnaround he achieved at our beloved club was quite phenomenal. How he managed to glue everything together, fans, team, management and dare I say it "owners" was incredible.
And then to top it off with yet another promotion was Roy of the Rovers stuff.
Enjoy your retirement Sir Neil, you have earned it more than once over.

Next testimonial game - we need to get him back either as the manager or as Referee - I believe he is a fully qualified ref

Couldn't agree more, that promotion was a miracle by Warnock and the team. The bad side was his signings when given money, we are suffering from those signings to this day.

Should have thanked him for getting us promotion then employed a Premier League Manager to keep us up like Crystal Palace did! In the end he left when we were 15th in the Championship the same position as when he joined us, wasted 100million on terrible signings and we were his 5th relegated team! Still Happy Retirement Neil, enjoyed our promotion year!

I can thoroughly recommend his books too, he also did one about his time with us. I gave them to mate at the club to get all three signed and NW even took the time to write a letter to thank me. He signed off with 'Be Lucky'.
Football needs more like him, a force of nature - one of the best City managers ever, if not (arguably) the best.
