Only what I have been told:
Phillips will start for Cardiff today.
Steve Morison told to pull Smithies out of squad today - 4 clubs interested in signing him in June - Forest, Bournemouth, Sheff United and Norwich
Many more players set to leave and I have heard only Joe Ralls offered new contract, with Sean Morison being offered a new one with conditions.
Expect over 12 players to leave this June / July.

Isn't his contract up at the end of the season?

City had a one year option with Smithies.

If Smithies is going and Phillips is not it makes sense. Maybe his attitude is not right because he knows he's going.

I thought Phillips was leaving too.

Philips as always played to his full potential and IMO a better goal keeper : hopefully there won’t be 12 key players leaving or we will be worse off than we are now and the championship you need a tight nit squad at full strength for 3/4 of the season it’s a challenging league and demanding physically and mentally - We always live in hope with players coming and going but we need players of quality and who die for shirt give 110 per cent every game and not think as individuals there better than anyone else play as a team and give respect to each other with a health training ground and dressing room throughout the season ( hoping for a big bounce back today ) game a good day all ! He's reportedly unhappy but what that's down to is unclear and we are told that he can go, if a fee in the early £100k's is offered

I was told Sean Morrison has already made his mind up to leave Cardiff. Not sure if it's true.

Wouldn't surprise me, tbh. A crossroads of his career after his injury and expected to take a big oay cut, if he were to stay
I'd prefer him to stay and play a part in nextcseason but I'd understand him moving on and would wish him well

Chris Sean Morrison was in the Captain Lounge for the Jacks game and he told everyone that he had been offered a new contract and was in discussions with the club. He also said he really wanted to stay and was hopeful a deal could be agreed.

Well now we are definitely mathematically safe from relegation, I think we should be giving youngsters and some of the fringe players some game time, as there will be no pressure on them to win games, we can see what we have got that can make the grade and if they are not up to it in no pressure games, then let them go, we have had enough deadwood for years now.

If there are players with no future with us, then drop them and get those that will be here to play.

I agree, but Martin I would not play many others who won’t be here ether and play more of the players who are staying.
I am hearing Colwill and Bagan will start today and that’s music to my ears.
Morrison indicated in the week that he owed it to other clubs to play a strong side as it may effect relegation issues in particular. However as we are due to play Birmingham and Hull, neither of whom can realistically go down, we may see that change.
