Because he has done a wonderful job since coming here and Saturday was just one awful game. We were deep in relegation trouble but under SM we pretty much secured safety last month.
The style of play has improved, youngsters have been introduced and developed. We had the best transfer window in years. And the man has earned an opportunity to shape a new squad next season. I bet SM will have learned a lot from that game, as a young manager.
