Needless to say I am disappointed. I like Max, genuinely believe he can be a great goalscorer at this level given the proper chance. He's quick, clever, and has good movement. Hopefully a thoughtless mistake, and not a sign that his relationship with Morrison is broken.

It does at the minimum highlight a disconnect between players and fans.

This has made the rounds and he will know about it. He should make a statement against it if untrue but while he remains silent everyone is going to believe its him. if he does get back in the team he will be in for a horrid time.

Yep, I wouldn't mind if he was any good and had been hard done by but he's shown virtually nothing to prove he has a future at this level.

When he was subbed in that game I was surprised he lasted as long as he did. No application and very little, obvious, ability.

As others have said, if this is confirmed to be his own account then his contract should be terminated, I'd rather take the loss on his transfer fee than pay him a single penny more or risk him being poison on the training pitch.

I also have not been impressed with him since his arrival. My fear is that come next season we are going to get similar in the transfer market.
