Is Will Vaulks about to sign a new contract?
Not sure but just a question raised from noticing his house (was for sale) has seemingly been taken off the market
Wouldn't be a bad one to keep as I believe he has an edge that maked him valuable in certain games

Hope so.
If we played him yesterday I believe it would have been a different result. Make him Captain against Reading with 10 youngsters around him.

I'm with you; he has that steely mentality that would have worried a few of those 'Jacks'

Yup. So much so that if it was him or Ralls I’d go for him.

Yes why not. Rather Vaulks than Ralls,Why was Ralls Captain? No class no style did nothing to push team forward yesterday. I don't mean to unfair on him but no way is he a Championship player. I have never rated him never will just hasent got it. Its OK to say he plays for 90 mins but does very little in that time, Sorry but we all have our opinion right or wrong. If he was a class player he would have gone by now. Has any team shown interest in him I can't recall reading it.

Have to disagree, him and Ralls can do one, all Vaulks does is moan at everyone else whilst being poor himself. Clear out needed but who will come with a 12k wage cap, you know these players wont even take a drop in wages, we will end up with shite journeymen and League 2 dross who wont be up to the standard required. My early vision next season is relegation!

Absolutely agree. Vaulks may not be as creative as Ralls but he is more destructive/disruptive and sometimes Wintle needs some help in putting tackles in. Doyle would get more freedom too with Wintle and Vaulks in there together.
Anybody who's played the game at a decent level knows you have to have an "enforcer" type player in there somewhere. If Vaulks had put a big challenge in on Patterson, or any of the others, early on the crowd would have been up as would the rest of the team. We were too passive and that is something that Vaulks is definitely not !!
I'm not saying Vaulks is a world beater, but he is the type of player you want against a team that likes to just pass the ball about. They would have been looking over their shoulder if Vaulks was about and that changes the dynamic.
I know Ralls has his loyal fans, fair enough, but I just don't think he's mobile or physical enough to play in the system Morison is trying to implement. He's certainly not worth the £22k per week we're allegedly paying him

I agree with you on the players.Valks would probably got himself sent off as he tends to be a bit petulant in derby games.
But I do think this 12k pw is bullshit, nothing from official channels.

He definitely offers something different in midfield. In hindsight, he may have been a good selection yesterday, who knows. Seems a good character and we know what he offers, be a shame if he left.

If Ralls signs a new contract it will be for 2 reasons. (1) . No one else is interested In him never have Been (2) Who else would pay him 12 grand a Week he would be overpaid at that. SORRY but no one will change my mind he's over-rated and there are better players in the Welsh League.

I think Saturday's game was one of those occasions where you appear to be a better player just because you didn't play in the match!
Vaulks has been poor most of the season whereas in fairness to Ralls (and I am far from his biggest fan) he has been very important in our recent run of decent results.
Surprised that nobody has posted about how we would have been much better if Pack and Bacuna had started!

I’m not a fan of Vaulks.
He offers very little except picking up yellow cards it seems.
His passing is usually woeful.
Saying that, depending on the situation and other players he’d be useful as a squad player.
