To not do the post match interviews and say “my remit was to keep the club up” is embarrassing to those like me who have defended Steve Morison.
He should apologise for his selection and that “display” that embarrassed this club!

Annis, I like what SM has done so far, but you’re right; if he came out and said ‘My tactics were wrong. I tried to change it second half but it was too late. Many players didn’t play well’
Then I could sort of understand

But he didn't try to change it.
Many say he's learning. Same mistakes yet again.
Too stubborn. Never wrong.

I’m just saying basically if he said - I got it wrong

When he critisised a player in public he was rinced by many on here, you can't have it both ways.Doesn't strike me as the type to take this lying down. His remit was to keep us up and he has but it was the players who let everyone down yesterday and thats where the apologies should come from. He's doing his job and the time to judge Morison hasn't come yet.Biggest clearout ever is on the cards and yesterday underlines the case for new players not a new manager.

Over the last few season we have been a right mess. Yesterday hopefully a wake up call to how messy we have got. Apologise will not help that much.
It reminds me of a place where I use to work where it went from a friendly environment to a very toxic place. I can imagine this is where CCFC is at now, very toxic. Using that remit to justify your position makes me wonder how it is there.

Exactly. I mean he's probably still our best option. But he needs to start taking on these lessons.

Agree with that Jimmy.
I’d like to have heard -
I got the tactics wrong but some of the players need to take a look at themselves.
Then -
We’ll work on things in training. Learn from mistakes and we go again from Monday.

Well let's give the guy a chance and see if he does learn from his mistakes, like we all have to do. I personally don't believe he meant he wasn't bothered about losing the game yesterday. As he said he was given the remit to keep us in the Championship and in doing that we didn't neccessarily have to win ANY particular game, so long as we accummulate enough points to stay up.
