Pre-game ritual for home matches??

mine is I have to get the train in from thornhill to grangetown walk to the stadium get a burger from the same burger van, buy a fifty fity ticket off the same person (all though I never seem to win!!!), by a programme from the same booth and sit in my seat half hour before kick-off, with a pint of coke!!

Sad I know but I feel I have to do it!!

Never had it down as a ritual but for 3pm kick offs I cook a pizza at 11am ready to eat at 11.15, get showered and then get in the Canton Cross for 1pm. I guess because I do the same before every home game (when I'm not working), it must be a ritual. I'm staying round my bird's in Penylan this Friday night, so I'm going straight to the Cross from hers

If i drive to the game i have no ritual.

If i catch the train i normally have grub in Oneils and a pint or two then to ladbrokes for a footie bet, then Great Western for a few, then the Ninian Pub or Canton Cross for a few and a swift one in the ground before kick off.

Drink 3 pints of premium lager.

No big ritual but I ALWAYS go in via the same gate no matter how big the queue

Get off the bus in greyfriars road at 9 a.m., straight into the wetherspoons for 3 pints, on to the p.o.w. for another 4 pints, then up to the gatekeeper for 3 pints, onto the westgate for 4 pints then up to the ivor davies for a quick 3 pints, stagger to the ground and vomit over a small child near the turnstiles, get to my seat and fall asleep, wake up at 4.50 pm, leave the ground and head back to the gatekeeper for another 10 pints, then get on the last bus and challenge the entire bus to a fight, then its off to the outpatients to get stitched. Happy days.

depending on how lazy i feel, either walk down or more often than not - train down to ninian park.
1 in the ninian park, although if it turns out it has shut i guess i'll have to find a new one.

This season I have done the same thing..
Travel down in the car with my mother (who works on matchdays) Me and my Dad buy a programe from the club shop then walk to the burger van by the bus depot, after that go check on my mother. Then walk to the Ninian Park pub.
