Timing was well off the scale to advertise how far we have come this season and it really looks bleak i meantioned the other day about the dwindling crowds with tan talking about a wage cap and the display today with a big clear out to come i fear our crowds will fall even further and with the cost of living going through the roof fuel prices sky high
i fear crowds for next season15,000 and below.
I will make the last home game this season against brum but fear i could spot one other man and his dog.

Lol we had 27000 on the back of the worst home season in our entire history .

MONTY

After that, do you not think this summer might be the perfect time to reshape the squad? :?

And your comments (going on what you wrote above) are based wholly on one single, albeit disappointing game?!

PS: It's not a laughing matter either (quote you) "lol"...

SVEN

Give it a rest mate lol was reply to skiprat as he was giving it to me and i do know laugh out loud
and my assesment was not based on one game i have hardly missed a game all season i could of quite happily missed today after that performance
do you ever agree with anything i say or do you go out of your way to never look at anything i say with any positivity and you can stuff your old mantra of i don't allow any other opinion you just argue with me for argument sake
I just think you enjoy it
I never comment on anything you have to say on any topic because i would prefer not to argue even when you say things to others that are completly wrong i choose not to get involved
arguing constructively is all ok but personal things should stay off the forum and poking fun at others is not a nice trait to have which you seem to revel in.

Absolutely agree. This isn’t even a good Swansea team !!

The only thing I would say is that we have to back Morison because one awful defeat cannot make us deviate from the path that most of us have been crying out for over a number of years.

Morison has to learn from this. As City fans we are used to losing, but what we won’t tolerate is a derby defeat where we hardly land a glove on them never mind a tackle.

The experienced players were the ones who let us down today. Ralls, Flint, etc., were nowhere to be seen once the first goal went in.

I wouldn’t keep any of those coming to the end of their contract after that.

The only positive was the way Colwill played when he came on but he can’t do it on his own.

I honestly didn’t see a drubbing coming our way, and thought that the team would be up for it. But too many just couldn’t handle it.

We have to afford Morison the chance to create a squad in the summer, he did well in January with virtually no failures the pressure is now on for a quick and calculated re-build.

OUR SUPPOSED RIVALS Bristol City & Swansea did the double over us this season. Both out played & out fought us in the pitch.

Their is NO way Our club is moving forward and we have spent most of this season just above relegation

As usual after an international break we are way off the pace.

Why?

Poor and embarssing performance from city today and the Managers team selection very poor with only Colwell coming away with any credit. The scum seem have a bit of an old indian sign over us for the last few years and we seem to freeze for these big games.

You could see after 15min changes were needed. Nothing? Wheres the manager? Doyle, Ralls, Wintle all off the pace and unable to retain or pass the ball forward causing us knock the ball long and losing possesion.

Long day!

One conclusion from today there will be more players that will not be offered renewed contracts.

Opinion and debate (rather than arguing) are the order of the day, Monty...

When have I been 'personal' towards you?

I don't know you other than a character on this Forum who isn't able to debate back

You made a public comment and I asked a question in return

No malice, no ridicule (other than the use of the huge name) and an element of humour is both appreciated and understood by most... ;)

The club is merely changing direction rather than moving forward and this is going to be a crucial summer

I still think Steve Morison is the man to drive this change; but there were plenty of "I told you not to give him a contract" soothsayers around me today

Ultimately, it's a bad defeat but not one that should define our season; not in the way that it appears to have 'made' theirs

I thought they'd won the World Cup at the end of the game, such was their overreaction  :laughing6:

The end of the season cannot now come quick enough, a long summer break is needed by everyone.

The hurt felt by todays defeat and the impact on the club cannot be underestimated, its not just a loss , as hard as that would be its acceptable. Just.

The manner of the defeat will never be acceptable to any city fan and SM comments, just may have lost him any goodwill for next season if it goes wrong.

it was crystal clear that following the news that there is likely to be a salary cap next season and the fact that we have so many players likely to be leaving, was there a degree of apathy lack of effort and frankly did they really care enough to to get stuck in, Yes they were poor goals to concede but there was a lack of effort and commitment from 1 - 11. this contract situation needs to be addressed asap and get those players who are staying out on the field of play (loanees excepted) and weed out the dross that are going, and boy was there some dross on show there :banghead:

Is that confirmed the ST are on sale in 10 days or an estimate based on previous years? Any idea on what’s happening with the prices and if there will be another freeze?
Thanks

Apparently, no and not sure but would hope so (in that order) :thumbright:

We live in strange times at the CCS, so further delays cannot be ruled out but it was stated elsewhere on here in the last day or two

So the fair weather fans turned out today. If they put their hand in there pocket and bought season tickets then perhaps the proposed salary cap will be raised a bit.
