I'll always miss Ninian but so far this season we would have been locking valuable revenue outside of NP for each of our home league games as we could only get 18,500 home fans in and that's presuming we would even attract those sort of numbers without the new stadium. I also prefer have a few pints in the new concourse before the game than queuing outside that poxy portacabin at the back of the Bob Bank
A lot has been said about the atmosphere but I truly believe that is down to us as fans. Swansea, Leicester (both games), Bristol, etc, last season were as good as any at NP. So that would indicate it ain't the ground that is the problem
We sometimes only remember the good times at NP but there were plenty of games there when the atmosphere left a bit ot be desired to say the least.
The biggest issue re: atmosphere is the lack of standing and I tend to agree with those that say it should be allowed in some of the Blocks in the Ninian Stand at CCS. I know there are ligislative and safety issues but surely there is a way around it ?
