Confident about tomorrow

Fri Apr 01, 2022 7:26 pm

Usually hate the pre derby feeling but I’m confident that if we play our usual game we’ll win with some to spare. 3-1 :bluescarf:

Also think we'll win.

Probably be more nervous on the way tomorrow!

My only fear is the Jack's have had more time together. We've had the bigger gap as they played the weekend after us. And we have had a lot more players on international duty. Where they would of spent the week mainly full squad

How you feeling today mate?
Hate to sound like Dave Jones but at the moment I just feel it’s another game, a big one at that.

I’m very optimistic, wouldn’t go as far as being confident. Unfortunately this game will define Morisons season. He has done fantastically well but hearing his interview about the game it does feel a bit Dave Jones-esque, just another game etc…. It is but if he fails to realise what them doing the double will do to morale on and off the pitch then we could end up on the wrong side of the result.

I see your point mate but I have a feeling that what SM says to the press and to the players may be vastly different in this case; just going on his temperament. Think Hudson will do a job there too :bluescarf: .

How can I see this and Morison can’t? How much is he getting paid? Should have gone Uche and Hugill and gone direct. I really would sack him tonight. If he can’t get a team up for a derby then what hope have we got? Huge, huge negative today. Undone all of his hard work.

Pathetic viewpoint. If it wasn't for him we would be staring at relegation.

Pathetic? Losing 4-0 at home to a team one place above us? Alright pal

Yes "pal" blaming Morison is in my opinion blaming the wrong person. By all means blame the people actually on the pitch.

What did Morison get right in his biggest game in charge of us? Starting line was shite, tactics were shite and subs were shite….again. What makes you think he can get them up for big games in the future? Yeah the players take some blame but Morison playing the game down beforehand was unforgivable for me. The fact he said it wasn’t his double to lose is laughable. Would love to see a manager taking this game seriously.
