Cody Drameh is asked about Leeds' form in recent weeks
I have watched the games over the last few weeks. I’ve seen a lot of changes from Bielsa to Marsch. It feels a lot more structure - it’s not like a basketball match!
He’s trying to make sure they are a team that you just don’t want to watch them. He wants good performances.

What is the step up from PL2 to the Championship actually like?
I felt like I had outgrown PL2 from a football level. The step-up is massive. I would encourage players to get out and play men’s football as much as possible.
The step up is a big one but it’s not anything people can’t happen.

How different a player will you be when you return to Leeds?
My playing style has changed a bit because of the roles which have been asked of me. I play a bit more attacking at Cardiff compared to Leeds. There are a lot of things which have changed to my game.
Just things like the media, I didn’t really speak to the media at Leeds, so I’ve picked up stuff from watching interviews and things like that.

Did you understand why Marcelo [Bielsa] wanted you to stay at Leeds?
I haven’t really thought about that. There were a lot of injuries at the time, he probably wanted me to stay and provide cover, so maybe I understood it from that standpoint.

Drameh on the Cardiff v Swansea crowd
The stadium is crazy. I can’t explain it. It’s really nice to have the fans behind us. It’s really nice.
We need the fans to give us the edge and the energy to raise our energy levels.

Drameh is asked if it was a gamble to join Cardiff
I don’t think so. The way the manager reassured me. He said I’d be playing and I was ready to play. So it wasn’t a gamble.
I knew I could step up to the challenges required and I hope I’ve done that.
It’s my first season in a first-team setting. It’s very demanding and I’ve had to adapt.
But I think the coaching staff have used my experience to help me adapt.

To get games. Then through that showcasing my talent. They have put their faith in me. Hopefully I’ve showcased it to the best of my ability.

What does the future hold?
I know a lot of people are asking this question, but it’s the same answer for me. It’s just getting through these last few games, I’m fully focussed on these set of games.
I can’t really give too much away.

Are you enjoying life at Cardiff?
I’ve loved working under Morison. The lads have made me feel very welcome. They’ve helped me settle in.

Drameh on the derby
The excitement is going up. We are really looking forward to it, let’s hope we can get the win.
There was a stat that no club has won it twice in a season - so hopefully we can stop Swansea doing that!
Whenever I go to a post office or shop, Cardiff City fans keep telling me about it. They keep saying ‘Come on Cardiff!’ and ‘You guys can’t lose!’
We have to win this game!
It’s surprising [no double]. But it’s a tough place to go when you’re away. I’m guessing there will have been a lot of home wins. It shows how big of an impact the fans can have.

Drameh is asked about the international break
I’ve been going home, soaking up a bit of a holiday, getting recharged and ready to go again.
Some went to Dubai, some stayed here. It was a good break. I went back to London to see my family. Just taking my mind off football.
It’s my first time doing this type of thing in the Championship. Games come thick and fast and I’m ready to go again!
