Those clubs that have dropped from the Premier will have a big advantage over the rest of the clubs. Those clubs will be able to attract the better players therefore giving them a huge advantage. Even so there will be enough good players who will not make it to such clubs. Only time will tell if the gap increases between those that have dropped out of the Premier to those that are established in the Championship.

if tan things we can do everything on a shoestring he is just out to survive but no ambition to do anything else this statement could affect season ticket sales i thought tan might have been a bit more Cherrie after these court cases been sorted by next season
What a shame we have one hand tied behind our backs going into next season already.

i don't confess unlike you to know everything but if you come out with a cap on wages statment before we have even finished this season it sets our stall out as to how the season is going to pan out and fans read into that or perhaps its just me but my cardiff mate has just said the same as me so 2 of us then
and i stated and agree wages should not get out of hand so what is so wrong with what i have said enlighten me with your never ending wisdom

If the figures quoted on there and the £12000 per week limit for next season are even remotely accurate then it would mean that Ralls would have to take a 50% cut in his current wages in order to stay.
I'm sure there would be any number of Championship clubs willing to pay him more than £12000 per week so we may end up losing all of our out of contract players at the end of this season.
Luton and Huddersfield have shown that you don't have to pay massive wages to be competitive but I am slightly concerned about the prospect of relying solely on cheap youngsters and loanees next season which seems to be the way the club is heading.
