Watching ‘The Derby’ abroad

Sun Mar 20, 2022 10:40 am

Absolutely devastated not to be going to the upcoming Derby’ all to do with medical appointments with both my parents, taking them to Tenerife on a much postponed holiday for them. Can anyone advise the best way of ensuring we can watch it out there please ? Was thinking some kind of ‘Speakeasy’ with illegal streams ??? Any info would be greatly appreciated as Dad is also a lifelong fan as well. :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :bluebird:

Wouldn't it be easier and simpler to use city tv for around £10 than trying to use dodgy stream? Best to sort that out couple of days b 4 game..

Go on city website go to city tv and go from there you'll need to create an account though If havent got one.... but you've got it for ever so easy to do it again... just make sure you do game pass not radio commentary... best register now so ready for when go ..

The club tv is great but I can never get the apple airplay to transfer it to my tv, everything else but the club tv works fine on it.

For those of us who live in England and can’t get back to Wales that weekend we will not have access to CCTV

Could a workaround be using a VPN link with a server in Spain - will tricking your system to think you are abroad work?

Paul that would work fine
Ps but you must have an address abroad to register, easy enough to find one though, and you can use your uk card to pay!

Allan, a quick check of His Lordship's previous posts shows the OP is not a serious contributor to this Forum, so anything he writes should be taken with a pinch of cynicism

Speakeasy? Illegal streams?

I think the bars and clubs of Tenerife and Costa Adeje are very much in the 21st century when it comes to televised events for their guests

Notwithstanding the above, I hope (and I have no reason to question) the 'medical' situation with the parents is positively in hand. Family health is something totally seperate to the ruminations of this Forum...
