You're of course, spot on, but unfortunately, the brainwashed will believe the corrupt Western media's lies that it's the PUTIN PRICE HIKE, despite only 4% of gas and 8% of oil coming from Russia (according to the Guardian's article on 8th March).
Then you have Sturgeon blocking the North Sea projects, which would give the UK an energy lifeline. Sturgeon's explanation is to "lower emissions". Well that's strange because Sturgeon was welcoming 400 private jets into Glasgow for COP26 a few months ago, blasting around 13,000 tons of CO2 into our atmosphere. They're allowed to do that though because they're world leaders, it's only us ordinary peasants who have to obey, comply and suffer!
As usual, us ordinary people are getting deceived and ripped off. I'm hoping more of us are awakening to see this now, but I fear this is just the beginning.
What did the World Economic Forum founder Klaus Schwab say our future will be by 2030?
"You will own nothing, and be happy".

Lets hope more kids walk to school. Lowers emissions, and keeps them fit not fat.

Oil is a global commodity so whether we use 4% or 94% from Russia, that doesn't affect greatly the price at the pump.
The government could look at reducing VAT or Duty on fuel next week, in the spring statement but I doubt they will.

Probably keeping it for her Scottish independence vote, then she can say we've got North Sea Oil/Gas Fields profit and I'm trying to make the rest of the UK pay for our state pensions even when we've left!

Petrol has gone up everywhere because of the price of oil not just the UK, some here seem unable to grasp that fact. Just because the UK only gets 4% of theirs from Russia ( same % I've heard for US) some countries get a much bigger % therefore the demand for oil not from Russia has gone up.
If you want to blame anyone you should be blaming the OPEC countries who could solve the Russian oil issue just by raising production slightly but they won't as they're raking in millions at the current price.
