Well what a performance, best we have seen for a while, we looked completely in control even after Stoke scored.
I just wish we could keep all our loanies, I am hearing that some would love to stay, but, that is not down to them but their parent club.

Drameh what a player getting better all the time, this would be the one player top of my list to stay, he did not stop last night up and down the wing attacking and defending, I also thought Harris had a great game, the best he has had as a starter. and Hugill another great showing.
Having said that, I thought everbody had a great game, so maybe unfair to single anyone out!

It looks very likely that Morison will be getting summer signings done very quickly, it seems he has already identified players he wants and feelers have been sent out, including about our loanies. Also some players are out of contract and are interested in coming to us, but until contracts are signed (after 30th June) it is not certain this will happen, we can but hope.
What I will say is that there will be money available to spend and things are not as bleak as WOL seems to think!
As for our loanies it is not so much the money aspect as whether their parent club are preapared to let them come back, fingers crossed :ayatollah:

A very positive OP, Rog; and pretty much how I see it going

My thoughts are that money will be available this sumer; not for transfer fees (Vincent Tan has been stung by the financial wastefulness of previous managers on that front) but he will be supportive of current manager Steve Morison, who has impressed the owner with his no nonsense approach and ability to make (the proverbial) silk purse from a sow's ear in his identification of quality young players with the right attitude and intelligence

We just know that plans for next season will already be well in progress and that can only be a good thing, if (possibly) our best ever January Transfer Window is an indicator of Steve Morison and his scouting team's prowess in that field

As Craig Bellamy once professed whilst at Anderlecht, 'You don't have to spend big money on good young players, they are out there in abundance. You just have to find them, nurture them and give them a chance...'

Cue Steve Morison backed by Vincent Tan  :ayatollah:
