Value of squad

Is going up daily and will continue to go up with these players under Morison.

Players we now have worth over a million. I won’t put an individual price as that is so subjective but history tells us we don’t sell players we don’t want to for cheap under Tan.

Smithies (if he signs a new contract)
Ng
McGuinness (and then some)
Bagan (what a turnaround)
Ralls (if he signs a new contract)
Wintle (has made a huge difference, so much more solid)
Pack (just kidding)
Colwill (more for potential than performance currently)
Davies (pace and a knack to be right place at right time)
Whyte (the way he is performing for Oxford)

Suddenly things are looking up.

But………

Out upturn has been due to the clever use of the loan market and support from Tan to get players in. They won’t be so cheap in the summer and we may have to pay higher wages to get the players we want early (loan or free transfers).

Hugill is a must although I can’t see how but he has shown he’s about playing football rather than collecting a wage and he absolutely has an affinity for the fans.
Doyle is someone we could build a team around. Any championship side could.
Drameh is someone who if he is here next year I will kiss his feet before every game. Absolutely would love it if he did come but he’s going to be a massive player for someone in not too long a time. He backed himself to do this.

Chances are the loan market and out of contract players may be the bulk of our summer business, in which case I’d try and get Dylan Levitt in. Contract is up at Man Utd in the summer, and seems to have been doing fairly well for himself up at Dundee United.
