Hats off to Morison

Wed Mar 16, 2022 9:51 pm

We were 2 points off relegation when Morison got the job ,now 18 and safe ,he's done a great job ,changed the style of play greatly, I'm looking forward to next season think he will have a good summer and we will be a lot more competitive next year.

I agree SM has done an amazing job and it's still happening after he was given a new contract. Since the end of the January transfer window we have taken 23 out of 36 points which over a season is borderline automatic promotion.

Like you I can't wait for next season.

Yep, he is doing a superb job to be fair.
Clearly an excellent man manager and has clearly got a game plan going forward with tactics and style of play

I don't believe the squad of players were ever as bad as the position Morison found himself, but so have many bigger clubs who ended up in L1, so he did the job required of him.

I am still a sceptic, mainly because i dislike 3 centre halfs in the championship, i'd rather another ball playing midfielder in there and have the flanks covered by wide forwards than wingbacks. Whilst we have Drameh we need to maximize his abilities because he is prem class. Bagan could easily revert to an old school attacking full back if we played a 433

But, hats off for realizing Pack was never up to it...........He never has been and the difference between him and Wintle is massive.

I like all his loan decisions. Brown and Sang are not good enough and the kids needed to find senior football game time.

Brown is a different player for oxford. Realise it’s league one but when he’s not under the cosh constantly and has two ball playing centre backs alongside him and a left wing back who can play. Totally different player

He's done an excellent job hudge improvement in results improved the style (not hard) and brought a few youngsters through. His stock must be pretty high at the moment.
he club are going to need to give him a bit of backing summer otherwise clubs will come in for him.
