What was Drameh doing up front for the second goal?
Machine that boy.
Confidence oozing through the team.
How many of us were wrong about Bagan?

it was far more front foot football, Doyle was far more advanced than the last few games and linked the midfield and attack. Bagan and Drameh really pushed on tonight. Morison has got braver now the pressure if off, which is what i expected.
Davies and Harris are wide forwards, I would love to see them in a 433 neither have the strength or control for the middle but are burners with a bit of green to run into
I will be gutted if we sign Uche

A superb win tonight against one of my least favourite teams in Stoke City
We didn't deserve to go 1 - 0 down and made a superb fist of our come back to lead 2 - 1 at half-time
Possibly our best passing performance of the season and a deserved win to keep the pressure on the (apparently lucky) Jacks
Sets it up nicely for the 'derby' v our second biggest rivals

Totally agree Chris
Can’t believe how quickly we’ve changed our style of play and the players seem to be getting more and more used to it. We seemed to be passing the ball a lot quicker tonight and I thought the first goal was superb. Great measured pass by Bagan. Really hope we sign Hugill. Kieffer who?!?!?!

It depends on his role - he scores some goals, not many, but last night was classic for the big man - comes on, bullies their central defenders, buys some corners etc. As an impact player, at Championship level, he is exactly the sort of centre forward you need in those circumstances.
Against Preston he came nearest to scoring making the keeper make 2 decent saves - no other City player had done that all game.

Agreed.
I wouldn't see him as a first choice centre forward but I'd certainly sign him as a back-up and impact player depending, of course, on the price.
He can score goals, and has done, but more importantly he has brought some physicality into the game when we've needed it.
He's quicker than he looks and his hold up play, whilst not at Hugill levels, is pretty good too.
Seems like a good character to have around too.
