That's what a lot of us were saying a few weeks ago.
Now just one point from safety, as things stand in tonight's games.
Guess it shows how quickly things can change in football.
If things stay as they are (Barnsley 2-0 up, Derby losing 2-1 and Reading losing 1-0) then Derby will be four points away from survival.
Peterborough would be six points from safety but they play tomorrow.

It does change very quickly, especially when teams are playing with a gun against their head. Derby losing 2-1 now but both Barnsley and Derby could.easily catch Reading. I just wonder if both Derby and Reading will be the ones for the drop as Barnsley are making a fist of it of late. It's going to be very interesting for sure.

A Jack on fb made me laugh last night.
His post was on these line "Derby lost, Reading drew, Barnsley won, therefore that makes Reading going down and Derby staying up".

I hope it's Derby and Reading to go down. They both cheated the system, Derby cost Middlesbrough possible promotion in the process and that shoukd not be rewarded
Either way, Shrek will be seen to have done a decent job

Totally agree Chris.
Barnsley have done things the right way, and deserve the rewards. Said the same in the play-offs last season.

Completely agree mate, exactly how I feel. They both blatantly cheated and got caught out. I respect Rooney for the job he's done and no doubt he will go on to better things. Reading for me are just a pffff boring club and Derby especially deserve it after we both endured Snowgate!

I think in the window they signed some useful loan players from big clubs on the continent. Got someone in from Bayern I believe
