‘ Tommy Doyle? ‘

The Manchester City loanee has been an incredibly classy operator since joining in January.
With no Harry Wilson or Lee Tomlin this season and a reliance on 19-year-old Rubin Colwill, fans were rightly concerned about a lack of consistent creativity in the final third.
Enter Tommy Doyle. He has looked a cut above with the ball at his feet and his work-rate off the ball is akin to a butcher's dog.
He has made such a difference and the rest of City's attack has been lifted as a result.
The 20-year-old has had a couple of off days, too, games which haven't quite suited him, but the Championship is a big learning curve for anyone and that is to be expected.
He is reminiscent of Conor Gallagher and it would be no surprise to see him enjoy a similar trajectory over the coming seasons.
Take Gallagher as an example. After his Swansea City loan, he returned to the Championship for another season with West Brom, getting more games under his belt and it allowed him to learn his trade better. He then joined Crystal Palace this season on loan and is flourishing in the Premier League.
That could be the route Doyle goes down and that's where Cardiff will think they have a chance of re-signing him. Doyle will want another year of regular football and Morison will be at the front of the queue throwing his hand in the air no doubt.
Manchester City will want Doyle to play at a high standard next season and if Cardiff can match their standard Doyle will be on his way back to the Bluebirds.
He has done well and there will be many suitors in the summer, from an array of leagues, but Doyle wanted to join Cardiff in January and it cannot be ruled out that he might want to do the same again this summer.
