‘ Cody Drameh ‘
Will Drameh be back at Cardiff on loan next season?

While this is all subjective, of course, for many Cody Drameh has been the pick of the bunch.
The Leeds United right-back has been electric for the Bluebirds over the last two months and has made a massive difference to the side at both ends of the pitch.
One moment he will be defending his own goal, the next he is pressing the opposition goalkeeper. His pace is frightening, he rarely lets you down defensively and has an innate ability to dribble past players.
He has been sublime and it seems unthinkable that this rising star won't be playing Premier League football next season.
At present, Leeds are currently embroiled in the relegation battle in the top flight. If they do eventually drop down, the Elland Road club will no doubt want him to play a part in their bit to get back there. Failing that, another Premier League club would be silly not to sign him.
If Leeds do stay up, well new manager Jesse Marsch will need to convince Drameh he will play a sizeable role next year, or the right- back could once again take a stand and force his way out, just as he did in January.
That's just about Cardiff's only hope, really, because if anyone in the top flight has been watching him then they will know he should feature in that division next season.

Yes, Drameh is already too good for the Championship in my eyes. I'd say he's a much better full back than Ayling at Leeds and I'm still amazed they let him come to us.
Even if Leeds don't want him I'd say any number of other Premiership teams will.
Our only hope is if the new Leeds manager isn't convinced but doesn't want to sell him yet and will loan him somewhere where he will play every week. I'm just clutching at straws for that to happen

No chance he will be with Leeds in premiership or championship. Class

Only chance we'll see him in the championship again is in a leeds shirt
Needs to improve his end product to get into a premier league top 6 team, but would be a starter in most outside of those.
Class. Will end up at a higher level than Tommy

I think he’s burnt his bridges with Leeds. However he’s too good not to be playing for a PL team or one of the relegated sides. Unless he himself wants to play for us and pushes for it, I can’t see him being here next season unfortunately.

The lad has done well in his short time here with us - New management team in place now at Leeds .

He'd suit the style of play at Brentford. Similar shape to us with three at the back. Sergi Caños has been playing there but has also been used as a ten where he would be more effective. Could perhaps see him there if Leeds come down and the Bees stay up which they are looking to do after last few results.
Agree he is too good for the Champ.we've been lucky to have him and fair play to Morison for being able to convince players of that quality to come.

With all due respect to Brentford, from what I have seen he's too good for a team in the bottom quarter of the Prem even at this early stage in his career.
He does have to improve his final ball but I can see him with Wolves, Villa, Southampton, Palace, Leicester, etc.
He actually plays in a very similar way to the Liverpool full backs in the way he looks to steal the ball and drive forward but his distribution is nowhere near that level yet.

In fairness Brentford are only 6 points behind Villa with Southampton, Palace and Leicester (plus Newcastle) in between and I think they'll push on again next season after a decent first campaign.
I fully admit I have a bias there though as they are my boys team and the excitement of a nine year old falling in love with a club is pretty infectious and the connection between the fans, the owners and the team is incredible at the minute.
Reminds me of the Eddie May days when I fell in love with the City, just so much positivity all around.
I agree with you though that Drameh could be destined for the very top if he improves his distribution. Wherever he goes next will be a stepping stone in what should be a very good career.

no he won't i remember when he joined us, Bielsa wasn't happy. chances are they'll either look to cash in, or try and loan him to a top flight side outside of England for experience, or a promotion chasing side. great signing for us, but he will have his eyes set on a much bigger club than us

Bielsa has gone. Surely the new guy will want a look at him?!

One of the best I’ve seen playing for us in that position.
Unlikely to be back next season but stranger things have happened.
The way he pickpockets the opposition and starts an attack is very very impressive.
