Tonights Autumn Rugby international

Fri Mar 11, 2022 8:01 pm

I know loads will rejoice in rugby's demise, but that is shocking against France

Well done the Welsh public, FU to £100 tickets and Friday nights

How many times must the BBC say about the atmosphere in the 75% capacity crowd

Anyway, C'mon Wales

Not technically correct, I guess it depends on which spring you are working to.

"By the meteorological calendar, spring will always start on 1 March; ending on 31 May. The seasons are defined as spring (March, April, May), summer (June, July, August), autumn (September, October, November) and winter (December, January, February)."

"The first day of spring in the UK astronomically occurs on the vernal equinox, 20 March 2022. But did you know there are actually three main definitions for the season coming from astronomy, meteorology and phenology?"

I'll leave it there ;) :bluebird:

This thread has now reminded me of why I used to watch Spring Watch and Autumn Watch. And that was precisely to 'watch' Kate Humble swimming naked in Swowdonia. Phwoar.

Wow, never thought this thread would end there.......Thankyou

Wales France tickets used to be like rocking horse shit ever since i remember. Friday looked like an Autumn international against Tonga or Japan. Looks like the WRU has taken the Welsh rugby day tripper cash cow too far.

Friday night was the killer (sadly) not the prices, which 60k+ seemed happy to pay

I was at the game and only heard one monetary complaint when two wives wanted their men to leave after an hour with the score at 9 - 13 and the one guy said "I paid £400 for thses tickets and we're a try away from the lead, so I'm staying!"

Quite right, too; so no real (quote) "FU" from the supporters; just not overly practical on a Friday night after a busy work week

Had it been a Saturday or Sunday, it would have been full ;)
