Saturday 3pm KO.Attendance’s-Winners and Losers

Just imagine if all professional football is to played outside of a window break between 2-6pm on a Saturday or even Sunday meaning that most amateur sports people could be able to watch their favourite teams.

Do you believe it would have much of an impact on attendance’s as surely there are many Football fans who play sport at that time and then could do both.

This has never affected me but am interested to know off those who it does.

It does effect attendances but by how many is the question? I played sat football so missed most Saturday games generally only went to night games... but not all sport players followed local club..... but you can also add saturday workers in the same bracket so maybe missing couple of thousand if lucky.

Potentially off topic but didn’t Tranmere always play home games on a Friday night going back 20 - 30 odd years or have I made that up ?

Not sure why , potentially proximity to Merseyside clubs but attendance related .

There’s an easy way to check. Compare our attendances for 3pm Saturday kick offs with all the other times we play games. I doubt the difference would be noticeable.
