A losing debut for little Tommy

My middle boy played his 1st game today for Andover FC versus Newbury AFC at Basingstoke (Confusing).

They lost both their games 5-2 and 6-0 but i was immensly proud of little Tommy. He got stuck in throughout and made some great tackles and played some good passes. In the 2nd game he took a real kick on the ankle from a fat ginger kid and went down in agony. 30 seconds later he got up and the ginger kid took the ball past him. Crash! Tommy missed the ball and the ginger kid is rolling about in agony having had a size 13 across his ankle.

Really enjoyed watching the boy play. The 1st of many sundays spent on a windy touchline.
