' WHITTS & JOE FLAGS IN THE UPPER NINIAN '

Mon Feb 28, 2022 5:41 pm

Just saw this and I'm guessing many who sit in the Ninian wouldn't be aware of the two fantastic flags being up there. I'd like to see that stand covered in flags and I'd also like to see more flags generally around the stadium.

Thanks for that.
I had no idea those flags were there. I expect almost half the stadium didn’t know either.

Credit to the supporters club and our board/stadium management for this.

I agree, let’s fill it with City flags :bluescarf:

No worries. I sit in the Ninian and had no idea they were up there, probably like most others in that stand. Yes,.I think it would look great if it was full of flags. There was a group of fans that did an excellent one for Bluebird fans who had passed, I'm sure there must be many others that could go there too.

The Supporters club and Supporters Trust paid the majority of the costs for Joe Dwyer flag, the rest was made up from generous donations from the members of the CCFC travel group who run transport to away games, the flag cost in excess of £3,000 and we are looking to get another one for Brian Clark in the near future.

Cheers Corky. I'd like to see the Upper Ninan full of flags. Is that something that's been discussed with the club as I'm sure many fans would like to see it too, as the two flags look brilliant up there?

Agreed

Would love if flags were waving in the stands when the team walks out.
Im thinking welsh flags or something that represents our club.

Ideally the stadium looks empty where visit malaysia signs are so i would really love it if there were
big pictures wrapped in the inside of the stadium of the clubs past history. Like when we beat Man Utd or
when we were at wembley (even though we lose every time there) something to show off the history of our great club
instead of just Visit Vietnam or Visit Malaysia. It would bring life into our stadium if something like this happened.
