FIFA SPINELESS!

Fifa have said russia must be called football union of russian! And cant play at home.... fifa can suspend them if war continues but wont hold breath... the teams playing them in playoffs wont play them regardless of where it is or the competition and the FA have said wont play them at all for the foreseable future... fifa are spineless corrupt organisation not fit to govern world football... while they bury head in sand sports organisations and cultural ones all over the world have suspended all things to do with Russia for the foreseable future.

Calling them Football Union of Russia (RFU) is not even because of recent events.

FIFA would already have had to have done that for the World Cup due to the recent anti-doping restrictions on Russia.

Also where are they going to play. The EU has banned any planes from Russia into their air space.

If they don't put out a team they forfeit and FIFA didn't have to make the decision.

Aye a decision needs to be made by FIFA that does not leave the Russian players in danger.

The decision is slowly being taken away from fifa if enough countries adopt this stance tomorrow fifa will be forced to suspend them... as for playoffs the countries involved know the score and will accept that team playing Russia will have bye at worse but if fifa get of their arses they can promote the next placed team qualified to play like Denmark did in euros previously ? That's a big IF judging by their statement earlier...

Probably put Norway in their place as being the best 3rd placed team , I think. Possibly Hungary who were the next best via the nations league. But FIFA seemed determined to keep Russia in.

Well they are financed by them with lots of money in one way or other... so not in their interest to ban them, simply put fifa are morally corrupt but that's nothing new as far as they are concerned..... But they have a way to keep integrity of competition if act now but reading their statement they are determined to keep them in until it becomes untenable situation for Russia to stay in competition ...... despite fact they wont have anyone to play in playoffs totally absurd situation...

Wales will not "play any international fixtures against Russia for the foreseeable future, at any level of the game".
