“ Absolutely pathetic “

Thu Feb 24, 2022 4:34 pm

Last night:

First well done to All the Millwall and Derby players for not taking the knee last night :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright:
Common sense starting to prevail.

But guess what how pathetic, the Ref took the knee, absolutely pathetic in my opinion.

The match was played at Derby County.

Derby County Hone Crowd: 23,943

Surely it's about personal choice??

That's what I was thinking, it's their choice, but then that would only make sense if some people in the same team did it & others didn't. As for the ref/linesman maybe they made the choice together & maybe not.

For me it doesn't matter if its one out of eleven or just the one ie the ref as the OP indicates - for me it is about personal choice and if people wish to take the knee it's up to them the same as if people don't take the knee

As others have said, if it’s personal choice not to take the knee it has to be personal choice for those who want to take the knee !!

I don’t understand on what pretext people are objecting? The VAST majority of crowds are applauding the gesture, so like it or not it’s got more supporters than knockers.

I totally disagree with it and actually honestly believe it has NO place in football.

It actually winds me up, the minute i see it, You say that the majority accept it, I mix big time ith football fans and I have not met one person who agrees with it.

Its political and has NO place in football.

I have been to a few matches where the knee has been taken not all involving Cardiff and from the evidence of my own eyes looking round me I would say the majority were not applauding the has been some applause but it’s not the majority let alone a vast majority.

Are you really claiming that the majority of fans aren’t applauding the gesture?

If you are then I won’t bother continuing on this, the fact is clear, the majority of fans ARE applauding.

You may not agree with their view and that’s absolutely fine but just listen to the crowds it’s not rocket science.

Has this actually happened yet at the CCS? There’s 2 guys about 6 rows in front of me that have booed it all season and not been ejected.

Same I am in the canton and there is strong applause for it and a couple of boos but not seen anyone ejected for it. Not sure on what basis the club could justify that because as I said earlier its personal choice to bend or not bend or to applaud not applaud or boo?
