VAR | In The EFL

VAR in my opinion should be kept AWAY from the EFL. Referee standards have dropped dramatically over the years and most the time the decisions are against the welsh sides in Cardiff and Swansea. Both who have yet had a penalty all season and when Cardiff played Liverpool VAR was in use and they never had a red car nor a penalty given to us.

I stand by my theory that referees just dont like the welsh sides in the EFL. VAR will just give them more power to ignore our team in terms of fouls and/or penalties. Shame really because its the same in the Premier League when we basically got booted out after clear as day decisions like the one against Chelsea go against us.

But thats MY THOUGHTS what are Yours?

Sam, no one cares that we are Welsh, no one.

Its only the "little poor old Wales" inferiority complex of some of our fan base. The only difference between us and England is road signs, no one notices.

VAR is over and poorly used in the premier league, but it has improved a lot. Until it is clear how to use it i prefer the poor ref's who haven't given two blatant penalties against us in the last two games. We probably are a "big" club in the EFL so it should favour us.
