Blackpool will await guidance from the police and the EFL before travelling down to Cardiff today. They are due to leave early this afternoon

They will be lucky to get out of Blackpool besides making it to us.

I've witnessed people fly on their Promenade when the weather is like this.

It's not to bad in land. Up here in Cwmbran I've seen worse. They could leave in the morning.Just looked out the window trees hardly moving. This country stops for nothing these, days

It's apparently calming down by mid afternoon and the 'eye of thr storm' has followed the Bristol Channel, so we have seen the worst in south Wales, Avon, Cornwall and north Devon

The following expected 'storm' is reportedly substantially weaker than the current one

Fingers crossed Blackpool FC have a safe journey down and the game can go ahead :thumbright:

Well Im presently in Chester and have the trip back to Wigan across the Thelwall Viaduct (Blackpool will travel south across it)

Its like a much bigger version of the Gabalfa Flyover

I don't fancy it in a car never mind in a coach!

Yes - calming down later - our transport buses are going to start running again from 1pm today.

EFL won't allow Blackpool to miss playing this fixture even if they have to travel down Saturday morning - after all they aren't coming from the Antarctic!! I suspect they will travel down later this afternoon - safe journey them.

Yes I was thinking the same. Major plus for us if they travel down in the morning :bluescarf:
