Never "cheap" Annis, just good value!

I don't know if they still do it but a few seasons ago the club had a reciprocal agreement with Reading that away fans would be charged the same for each fixture which I thought was a great idea.

I wonder why more clubs don't have these sort of arrangements?

To put this into further context, I watch Tranmere play from time to time to get my fix and they are £20 for adults in any seating. That’s league 2 football.

Are we cheap or is everyone else expensive? The right price is probably somewhere in the middle so we could raise our prices a little & still look like good value to most away fans.

I’m guessing it wouldn’t be worth it for them. Almost all the clubs in the division would have to drop their prices to match ours. The clubs that charge £25 aren’t going to see a 20% increase in away fans if they dropped tickets to £20 so it’s financially better for them to not match our prices and keep them high.

As for ourselves, correct me if I’m wrong, but we can’t increase our away ticket prices as you can only charge as much as an equivalent home ticket. If we wanted to increase our away ticket prices we’d have to increase the home fans’ prices too.
